Bank robber turned novelist needs a stunning cover

The author is a former bank robber writing a series of novellas from prison. I (Clayton Lindemuth, creator of the contest) am helping him publish his books so he has a means of earning a living upon his release. My readers are willing to buy his books and help promote him. Now we just need a kickass cover that will serve as the starting point for at least 4 more.

the front cover shows a white English bulldog on the floor of a bar. There is a guiness mug of beer beside him. His collar is thick and royal blue, with gold shamrocks around it. The collar has a gold 4 leaf clover hanging from it, thick enough that it is capable of opening, like one of the old necklaces that opened to a woman's photo. Getting the collar and dog right are the most critical aspects of the cover, as they are a significant part of the story. The winning cover will set a mood. It's a bar in New Orleans. the background of the cover image should be kinda dark or out of focus, so the eye is drawn to the dog and collar. The fonts should be easily legible, but may also be used to express creativity. UPDATE: feel free to make the cover dynamic, with images superimposed on each other like a lot of high stakes thrillers... It would be interesting to see an old map of Charleston SC, and perhaps a bar with bottles on the wall and such, and a cupola features in the story. That would look cool.
