Encased in White Clockwork
Writer blogger, and madman with a box. Currently working on more novels, nothing can be done about that.
It is a time of magic, the all-powerful Cohorts of the Faithful control much of the world, but many people are willing to fight them. Conflict is coming. Powered by white clockwork, massive suits of armour will battle each other leaving destruction and chaos in their wake. Two armoured lovers, Elena and Mae, will face off against each other, the people that shaped them, and the Faithful’s world order. Blood will flow. Buildings and bodies alike will be shattered. All powered by white clockwork. A ticking sound. That will change their world.
Readers are adults who like fantasy and sci fi
Book cover type
The cover is going to be used on an ebook and paperback, so it needs to work for both. Also, both will be published on amazon so it needs to meet their standards. It should have a quiet before the storm feel that a fight is just about to start. The two suits of amour one black and one white should be the stars of the image, and what draws you in. As the book is inspired by anime, then a nod to that could be good. Maybe the font should be League Gothic.
What to avoid
Make sure that it feels magical over being robots that look like suits of amour.
