True Crime Stories: Murders, Disappearances, and Serial Killers Twisted Tales of True Crime (VOL 2)
My book True Crime Stories is a compilation of five true crime cases ranging from disappearances unsolved murders to serial killers.
My target audience is women ages 30 -35 who have an interest in true crime, from the US and UK
I'm going to create a series of True crime books, so I want a cover that can easily be duplicated. The title will be almost like a logo. All the books in their series will use the same title and subtitle. I'm looking for a retro noir feel to the cover, especially in the title text. If possible, have an image where the reader will know the book will be a true crime book without reading the title. For example a city skyline or crime scene, something that represents true crime. The book in the example attachment under True Crime Stories by H.J. Tidy is my last book if you want to model that book is perfectly fine with me also.
What to avoid
avoid bright colors and being too cartoony ( like a comic book)
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Night Terror Pub collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
