How graemesb started their book cover journey
Graeme Stone lost a brother, father and mother by the time he was 31. Rather than being the "Seven Year Curse" he thought it was, it transformed his understanding of just how short — and precious — each day is.
Every day, Max Sharp takes the same train. But today is different, it might be his last. When a train conductor gives him a ticket that just says:
Max embarks on a journey that will change him forever, a journey open to each of us. Every day.
Take the Ticket and go along for the ride.
Men and women 18-80, married with kids, family people, maybe even spiritual or religious though religious outlook not necessary.
Book cover type
The book's climax is at Christmas, but it's beginning is aboard a commuter train from the suburbs. Maybe something with a railroad tracks, the snow, Christmas imagery, Christmas lights or reflections. The story is about a man grappling with very complex family challenges. A father, mother, teenage/young-adult son and daughter.
What to avoid
I want clean, bold, emotional, evocative. Avoid overly stylish fonts, overly sentimental imagery. It's a solid family drama.
