Adopted by God
Barton Priebe (DMin) is the Lead Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Victoria. He is also the author of The Problem with Christianity and a contributor to Everyday Apologetics. Barton and his wife, Heather, have four children and adopted their youngest (Joshua) from Kunming, China.
The Bible teaches that all people are, by nature, slaves to sin. But in his love, God sent Christ to die for our sins in order to free us from slavery so that God. All who belong to Christ are God's own cherished sons and daughters. Not only that they are made heirs of God who will receive an eternal inheritance. The tone of the book is one of joy - joy in being rescued from slavery, joy in being loved by God, and joy in the hope of a future inheritance.
Christians with at least a high school level of education. It could also have a niche with those who have adopted children.
