Climate Restoration: The Only Future That Will Sustain the Human Race
Peter Fiekowsky with Carole Douglis
Peter Fiekowski is a scientist, an entrepreneur, and the founder and chairman of the Foundation for Climate Restoration (FCR), which is focused on reversing global warming and safely restoring the climate and the Arctic ice by the year 2050. FCR works with partners around the world – connecting the right people to the right ideas and resources – to launch financially viable climate restoration projects. After earning a degree in physics at MIT, Peter worked at NASA’s airborne observatory and then in artificial intelligence (AI) at Fairchild and Schlumberger. Peter then started Automated Visual Inspection, LLC, which has remained an industry leader in semiconductor defect analysis. He holds 27 patents and is also a board member of Zynergy Capital Inc. In the 1980s, Peter began work with the nonprofit organization RESULTS, advocating for communities facing barriers of hunger and poverty. There, Peter participated in lobbying campaigns that achieved dramatic success, like raising the child immunization rate from 8 percent to 85 percent in eight years during the Reagan presidency. During the Clinton years, he worked with RESULTS to achieve funding for microcredit lending to become a USAID priority, and during the GW Bush years, he helped secure The Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Peter’s three decades of experience as a social entrepreneur and lobbyist serves as the foundation for his current work on climate restoration, with the goal of “leaving our children a world we’re proud of.”
The Paris Accords, widely accepted as the key to solving today’s climate crisis, set a goal of zero net carbon emissions by 2050. But that’s not good enough. The only way to guarantee a livable future is climate restoration, which can reduce greenhouse gases to historic levels. Scientist and entrepreneur Peter Fiekowsky explains the technology and maps a practical path that will let humankind survive and thrive.
Scientists, business people, investors, social activists, policy makers, and other citizens concerned about climate change and its impact on the future of humankind.

It was a great experience working with Dejan. He kicked us off with a great design and then had the patience to stick with me through the design changes I requested. I am thrilled with how the book cover turned out and hope to collaborate with him again.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
