Sofie Meister träumt schon lange davon, ein eigenes Buch zu schreiben. Der zündende Funke, das Projekt zu realisieren, beginnt mit dem überraschenden Millionengewinn einer Nachbarin im Haus. Dieses Ereignis rüttelt das ganze Umfeld auf und setzt in ihr schlummernde Energien frei, die sie nützen will. Eine altbekannte Telefonnummer auf dem Festnetz Display wirft sie in die Vergangenheit zurück und rollt ihre Geschichte neu auf. Währenddessen bricht am Arbeitsplatz im Pflegeheim der Virus aus. Eine Geschichte von Gegensätzen und wie das Leben es versteht, sie zu vereinen.
