Nic was great to work with! He was accommodating and very creative with our design. He brought our idea to life better than we had imagined. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and friendly designer/artist.
stupendous, spontaneous, inventive, creative, focused, and flexible! She read what I wanted - and then made it so!
Amazing design, super responsive and accommodating designer. Very happy with experience and end result.
- Klassic Designs
I absolutely loved what my designer did for my book cover design! Klassic Designs was so wonderful to work with! I fell in love with the title that was presented in the first design. With every suggestion, Klassic Designs adapted the design to use my own pictures and made me fall in love with the designs. The final design was beyond my expectations! I love it!! I would highly recommend Klassic Designs for your design and am looking forward to working with them in the future!!

How AlastairCC started their book cover journey
Dad, husband, debut author.
18 years as a Naval Architect designing, building and repairing things that float. Now writing full time.
I've added the blurb because hopefully that will tell you more than just a description about the kind of cover I want.
" After the school bully puts Charlie in hospital he really doesn’t think things can get much worse, until he starts seeing strange clouds of light surround random strangers.
He worries he’s seeing things until the mysterious Colours Institution offers him an apprenticeship and a chance at the truth. It’s not long before Charlie wishes he was hallucinating as the truth might mean he can manipulate the very fabric of the world itself.
That kind of power attracts attention and soon Charlie is fighting for his life against a foe as ruthless as he his smart. Can he save himself and those he cares for?
Funny, harrowing and thrilling, Charlie might just be the most interesting person you meet this year. Why don’t you find out?"
YA cross-over. Say 13-80. English reading countries. Any gender.
Initial markets US and Europe.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Simple and eye-catching.
Something that looks as good in 160px thumbnail as it does in high res.
Intelligent YA - something that doesn't treat the target reader as a child.
The book is both humorous and harrowing and the cover should reflect this.
What to avoid
Stock images are fine if they are used in interesting ways. And as long as they are not too expensive ;)
