Am I a People Pleaser? How to Build Assertiveness, Gain Respect and Stop People Pleasing
Born in Australia, and moved to the UK when he was 12. He’s now in his late twenties. Has built a successful career in the high-stakes world of investment banking, where the ability to gain respect and build assertiveness is a must. Has a deep interest in the social sciences and has a degree in the field. Has been a keen student of mindset and social sciences for years. Having been a people pleaser, through years of study and research he was able to understand and overcome through many of the tools discussed in the book. As a result, he was able to progress quickly in his career into a leadership position and overcome all his previous mental barriers.
This book is about people pleasers. It explains what a people pleaser is, why it is bad and the tools and techniques used to overcome it.
Introverts or people who find themselves fearing the disapproval of others Ambitious young professionals who fear stagnation or job loss if they do not attract approval from their bosses and coworkers Anyone seeking to increase their self-esteem, confidence, or understanding of their personal values
The book is written in really good English with many references to academic papers. As such, the cover should be reflective of this style with a simple and professional-looking cover. I want people to look at the book cover and think that it has come from a trustworthy source. Please don't use anything abstract or with too many graphics. Also don't want too many competing colors.
