Growing Up in Stearns County
Richard W Job
Grew up a farm kid with the caveat that we also has a sawmill. I became a mechanical engineer and worked in the agricultural equipment field most of my career. I am now retired and like working with my hands.
Growing up on a farm with a sawmill as a side business. It covers the post depression era to approximately 1960. Involved in those year was complete rebuilding all the buildings on the farm except for the house. I talk about what we as kids did in that process.
People interested in family life and those interested in the "bygone era".

Don’t know yet
I would like the cover to point out my Dad was a progressive farmer; he had the first combine in the area in 1940. The sawmill was a very important part of our lives and it added a significant amount of money to our bottom line and helped him afford some very nice buildings that he oversaw the building process.
