A Space for Breath, Knowledge and Movement
Stylish, bold logo and brand identity for a yoga, Pilates and Fitness studio offering Yoga, Hot Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Wall Yoga, Trapeze Yoga and TRX. Surrey Yoga and Pilates will be a Yoga and Pilates studio, with the practice being conducted in 4 studios. The first studio will be a room where Yoga, Pilates, TRX and Barre will be practise. It will have ambient heat from infrared panels to keep it at 21 degrees. The second studio will be heated to up to 42 degrees centigrade using Infrared Panels called Lava panels. It will also be used as our Trapeze Yoga studio. The third studio will be a smaller studio with props on the wall for wall yoga and for teaching courses to groups of 12 people. We will also run Teacher Training courses. The fourth studio will be for teachers to make high quality yoga, Pilates, fitness videos for our students to use at home and 1-2-1 sessions. We want to provide a space where people can come and focus on their Yoga, Pilates Fitness or Barre, to work hard, have fun, breath, learn and sweat hard. Our studios will be an escape from the everyday stresses of modern living, a place where people can come and restore vitality to both body and mind. A Space for Breath, Knowledge and Movement. What we intend to offer is an effective and proven method for increasing general well-being, including aiding concentration and mental alertness; increasing cardiovascular efficiency and endurance; decreasing blood pressure; improving physical posture; improving balance and increases range of motion in joints. We want to create a brand that tells people that whatever their fitness level or lifestyle, from couch potato to professional athlete, including Yoga, Pilates and Barre in their life will improve their physical and mental state. Please do not include any spiritual references in the logo, as these can be divisive and we are keen to promote the ethos that our studios are for everybody, not just supple young fitness fanatics and spiritual gurus! Target audience The studio will focus on three specific groups: Upper Income: This group is the core segment of potential students for the studio. Their demographic characteristics are as follows: Age: 40-65; Sex: 30% male, 70% female; Family income: £60,000+ Middle Income Urban Professionals: The middle-income customer is a secondary target group. Their demographic characteristics are as follows: Age 26-39; Sex: 30% male, 70% female; Family income: £30,000 to £50,000 These are our 2 main audiences, we do have a student population, however, they are usually paid for by their parents. The studio will be in a village called Shalford outside the city centre location of Guildford, within walking distance of a train station. Most of our target market will be health food and exercise conscious. We would like our studio to attract those who are interested in running, cycling, walking and climbing. A real interest with the outdoors. We have named it Surrey Yoga and Pilates as we are in the heart of the Surrey Hills, UK.
Our target market is both health, environmentally and image conscious. We want to create a brand that incorporates healthy living with style. Our studios will be finished to a high standard and we hope to create a warm, safe, inviting atmosphere in a space dedicated to the mind and body. A Space for Breath, Knowledge and Movement.
