Tri-City Optometry is a fast growing optometric practice in Northern California. The major differentiators for the practice compared to competition: high-touch patient care and service (not volume), premium experience (no discounting or sales), and advanced services (CRT, medically necessary contacts, vision therapy, medical co-management, aesthetician services). The patient base is heavily represented by employees in the technology sector -- e.g., clients from Facebook, PayPal, Google, Apple and more plus young families and kids. The office will be 1/2 retail optical space and 1/2 medical exam rooms plus an beauty aesthetician's office.
We're looking for help to design a brand system for Tri-City Optometry which includes the following: Logo Typeface / font Color palette The goal is that together, the Tri-City Optometry logo, typeface, color palette and voice present a unified brand, a commitment to professionalism and patient care, and a platform to grow the business for the next 10+ years. There are 3 guidelines to direct what the brand and logo should represent: Modern: The practice will feature state of the art equipment, a new optical, and fashion-forward inventory). We think the typeface should be bold and central part of the identity. Bold/clear use of the name Tri-City Optometry. The logo will also need to used in small and large sizes (e.g. business card and an exterior building sign). One concept we sketched out was using "TCO" in caps and highlighted as part of the wordmark -- not sure if this could work or not. Color & Personality: We prefer the teals and orange family to complement the building and interior. Also, ideally the background is white because this way it will work easily on an exterior sign that we plan to get designed and interior logo signage. That said -- please bring your creativity to the identity and logo. The building photo is also attached which has a clay roof. The interior of the space is modern, and uses burnt oranges and rich teals in the accent furniture like the ottomans and bar stools (see rendering). Bring on your creativity! We are open to you pushing our thinking if you want to surprise us in the use of color or typeface or logo. Ideally we can avoid cliche or standard use of eye icons.
