eLearning eCommerce Co. Needs Fun Badges
Check out OpenSesame's Button or icon contest…
OpenSesame (www.OpenSesame.com) is an online marketplace that makes purchasing an elearning course as easy as downloading a song from iTunes. OpenSesame allows elearning consumers to research, evaluate and purchase online courses from a diverse set of publishers in a single location. OpenSesame is also a solution for elearning vendors, who can use our marketplace to reach new customers without investing in additional sales staff. Developers can sell existing off-the-shelf courses, thereby leveraging work they have already completed, or create new courses specifically for the OpenSesame marketplace. As a company, we are hard-working and fun. We are proud of our approach to the workday, where we have a Wii in our conference room and a universal devotion to Chipotle burritos. We celebrate the holidays with a Rockband festival and a chocolate fountain. We are seeking a set of achievement recognition badges to be displayed on our user profiles.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience for these badges are OpenSesame users, who are both the buyers and sellers in our elearning marketplace. Sellers are elearning developers, who might be freelancers or they might be part of an elearning design company. They create elearning courses, and we want them to successfully sell their courses in our online marketplace. These folks are talented technology professionals, instructional designers, graphic designers, etc. The buyers in our marketplace are learning and development professionals in large organizations, mainly Fortune 500 type corporations. These folks manage complex learning and development programs for large companies worldwide. They might come from an education, industrial design, management or technical expertise background.
We are seeking six badges, which will be displayed on user profiles. They will be earned by buyers or sellers depending on their participation in our marketplace: specifically, we'll recognize them for completing course reviews, selling a lot of courses, or for adding a lot of courses to our marketplace. The badges should look good at 150x150 and also at 50x50 in the profile view. We would like the vector files (at 150x150). We would like the badges to be images only, without text. The name of the badge & how it is earned will appear in a mouseover. Here's the list of badges needed: "Know It Owl" - Industry experts who review courses "Reviewer" - A buyer who has done 1-5 reviews "Learning Guide" - A buyer who has written more than 5 reviews "Door Opener" - A seller who has uploaded more than 10 courses "Swarmed" - A course that has sold more than 500 seats "Top Seller" - A seller who has sold more than 500 seats I've added here a previous version of our logo, which has an owl that could be used in the "Know It Owl" badge. Please check out our website for our branding and general look: www.OpenSesame.com. The badges should be fun, attractive and simple. We like bright colors, and we like the style of the badges of on FourSquare. Please post any questions in the comments and I will do my best to be prompt in providing further information.
