We make phone apps for Windows Mobile, which we sell on Microsoft's Windows Mobile Marketplace.
On this particular task, we're making an app which is able to do a bunch of things when you get to a GPS location. It can send a text message, set off an alarm, email someone or call someone. It's intended for anyone who makes repeat journeys and wants to do something each time - wake themselves up before they sleep past their train station; text the wife when they're almost home; email their carpool buddy that they're arriving at his house - that sort of thing.
Youngish (compared to me, at least), technology-enthusiastic mobile phone users. Age 20-40.
I need three slightly-animated icons for the app shown above. I already know what I want to appear in them - I just can't draw for toffee! The icons I'd like are:
1. A rotating planet earth (we'll use this when there's no active destination) 70x70 pixels
2. A planet earth which is trying to receive a satellite signal (we'll use this when we're, well, waiting for a satellite signal) 70x70 pixels
3. A planet earth which looks like an old-fashioned alarm clock (we'll use this when we're on the way) 70x70 pixels and also a static one in 90x90 pixels (we'll use this for the main application icon)
These are all a bit easier to envisage by looking at my horrible sample artwork. I would like them all to be a few frames - the first one needs to look like it's rotating so probably needs at least 4 frames - the others we'd be fine with just a couple of frames of animation each. But, hey, if you want to do more we'll be very happy - we have no real limit. You don't need to provide animated gifs or anything - just give us the artwork as separate images and we'll do the animation parts.
Use whatever colours you like. I have attached some sample icons that I like of other people's, to help with a bit of guidance.
