Woodworker - meaning, an individual who makes fancy things out of wood, not a carpenter. Current projects are small things like cutting boards, but will build up to furniture, such as tables and benches.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am looking for a maker's mark design for my husband, who is a woodworker. I plan on having the design turned into a custom steel stamp (see http://www.infinitystamps.com/oscom…ucts_id=77 for examples) that my husband would use to stamp his finished wood products with.
The footprint of the stamp will be pretty small, so the design needs to have that in mind (i.e., probably shouldn't be too elaborate). Husband's name is Jeff Galak. The design can use either his entire name, or just the initials. Can also consider a design with the terms "Jeff Galak Original" or "A product of Jeff Galak" or something of that sort. He likes the aesthetics of Mid Century Modern or Arts and Crafts, so if the mark would reflect that aesthetic, that would be nice. However, that's not required. The design can either be of his name only, but can also incorporate a logo of some sort.
Am looking for something a little out of the ordinary - not just a monogram. Any shape is fine.
My husband is kind of a geek. If you find a way to incorporate geekery, I could consider that. He's a big BSG, Star Wars, Star Trek fan.
