Games & Recreational
Les Petites Mondaines are High-end Waldorf style handmade dolls unique) with stylish designer clothes and jewelries. I have developed this unique doll pattern (registered design). I am about to start selling them on-line and in stores as custom-made orders. Accessories for the dolls such as clothes, shoes, jewelry, musical instruments, toys, stuffed animals etc. will also be part of the offering. Les Petites Mondaines play adult world. Bubbly and stylish, they take us around the world with a nostalgic touch of the 1950's. They will attract children between 5 and 12 year-old but also adults (particularly women). They will be purchased as spontaneous gifts and for special events such as birthdays or Christmas. To complete this offering, I am preparing a range of complementary products using pictures I make of my dolls (see http://www.facebook.com/lespetitesmondaines) as illustrations. These products will include stationery (postcards, notebooks etc.), canvas, wallpaper, bags, cushions, duvet covers etc. and possibly children clothes on the longer run. Brand style: Dolls in stylish Parisian world in the 1950's Paris Haute Couture.
What's your vision?
I am looking to have a series of 3 beautiful postcards with 1950's retro feel, using on each one of the photos of my dolls. You will find attached 15 photos / portraits of my dolls for you to pick from (please pick any following to your inspirations), with in mind that your designs should then be easily usable on a range of complementary products such cushions, linen etc. Note the photo of Les Petites Mondaines should remain a PHOTOGRAPHY, should NOT be a drawing, which means that they should either only be retouched by yourself and/or inserted into a nice design pattern. The illustrations must have a unique look and feel and evoque: Paris ''Haute Couture'' & 1950's retro feel I quite like the idea of using physical ornaments to the design such as pearls, buttons or, fabric that would manually be glued on top of the card but this is NOT a must. In case of special print effects needed, I would be grateful if you provide recommendation(s) of printer(s) (within Europe ideally) that would be able to print such effects at competitive prices as well as the specifications that would need to be specified for such a print. Again please keep in mind that the illustrations should then be usable on other products such as toiletry bags, canvas etc. Note that some pictures of Les Petites Mondaines that I am providing are not of such high definition. I hope this will not hamper your work :-( I let you pick the ones you most prefer to work with on each of your 3 postcards.
While further developing the range of complementary products such as stationary (postcards, notebooks etc.), toiletry bags, make-up bags, canvas etc. and possibly children clothes. I would ideally like to pursue with the designer who will win this competition to carry on this adventure!
