A delight to work with! We approached St. Pelmeni with a request to redesign our packaging. We had half of an idea and he filled in the rest above and beyond our expectations. His patience, attention to detail, and talent in design make him a pleasure to work with. He represents our brand well. As we continue to work with him, we have continuity in our brand image and style and a really polished look.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We provide small-batch, speciality coffee to blue-collar, salt-of-the-earth, working adults (18+) who desire high quality coffee at reasonable prices. Our mission is to encourage people to drink higher quality coffee through education and awareness. We bought an iconic train station, built in 1850, and restored it to house our cafe and roastery. We aim be a catalyst for community development. Our values are accessibility, community, customer service, and quality. Borealis Coffee Company is the only small-batch coffee roaster that unifies art, community, culture, and education in our area of Rhode Island.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We'd like a design to print in a wrap around a ceramic mug. The print area specifications are 2 x 9 inches. We want the design to be black and white. The mugs are white, so really the design only needs to be black and areas of white will show through. The design needs to incorporate our logo. Our building was originally built as a train station in 1850. The train tracks directly behind our building have been converted into a bike path. Our concept is to have the illustration of the building in the center of the design. A train pulling up to the station on the left side of the design and bikes riding away from the station on the right side of the design. We'd like to the aesthetic to be hand drawn looking. Slightly messy, without looking grungy. An organic feel. See attached images.
