Red Pelican Music
Our company: Red Pelican Music
Our business: Music lessons (guitar, piano, voice, bass, drums and more)
Our niche: Our instructors are elite rock, jazz and classical musicians chosen for their outstanding teaching ability, and friendly, patient style.
We have the best teachers, best customer service, and would like the best website as well!
We work with students of all age ranges (adults as well as kids), so we'd like the website be universally appealing. Our customers are 50/50 female/male, and interested in all styles of music, but skew towards modern styles.
Our niche is that we have a modern, fun, and very friendly approach (not the stereotypical piano teacher who smacks your hands with a ruler).
We currently offer lessons in the Los Angeles, CA area, but are expanding our coverage area. We'd like prospective customers to easily find what they are looking for by city or instrument.
Most music studio websites are awful, so rather than giving examples, we'd prefer a fresh approach.
While we currently have a functional website, our intention is to dramatically upgrade it. We are not attached to any of the design elements and would prefer something sleek, clean, and beautiful. Friendly, fun, and professional.
We have a brand-new logo! We also attached a variety of pictures of our teachers. Please feel free to use (or not use) any of them. In addition, feel free to use any other photos, or inexpensive stock photography.
We need the typical menu-options for a music school. About, Instruments, Sign-Up, Contact, Reviews, Store, Gift Certificates, FAQ, etc. We'll eventually have some short videos as well (to introduce the company and our teachers), but these will come later so the design should not dependent on the videos (but flexible enough to include them later).
The purpose of the website is to provide information, and generate calls and inquiries from prospective customers.
