What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I'd like you to illustrate something we can use for coasters, posters, t-shirts... similar to a popular evolution image on the internet.
I have attached something similar to what we had in mind ('Monkey to Monk'). I really like the style, but I would like a few key changes, and I obviously want the original files, so you probably have to redraw it and make some changes so it isn't a copyright issue (we need to fully own this).
I have also attached a picture of me posing in front of a mural in our taproom. 'Charlie Posing as Monk for Diagram'
We thought the second last guy in the image 'Monkey to Monk' should be more modern human looking (As the third last guy looks 'cave man' enough').
For the monk (last person in the sequence) , we don't want him walking like the others, we want him to break the mold and be facing forward like I am in the picture 'Charlie Posing as Monk for Diagram'. But we want it to look very similar to the mural monk, which is essentially a life like version of the logo (logo also attached). The idea is to show that we've evolved from Monkey to Troubled Monk. We want the monk to also portray our logo, and with him breaking the mold and facing differently it shows that he is a Free Spirit, which is a theme we are trying to portray in our marketing.
Make sense? I have a really clear picture in my mind, I just want to make sure you get what I am trying to explain.
I hope this interests some of you designers out there!
