Vabriel was very creative when it came to interpreting our brief for a band t-shirt in an artistic way - creating a dark, lino cut style design that really appealed to our more metal-leaning fan. Quick to respond to questions and incorporate feedback, we would happily recommend Vabriel to others!

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I want an illustration designed that could fit on a poster
There is a bob dylan song that starts out "Meet me in the morning, 56th and Wabasha"
I want to create an illustration of this. 56th and Wabasha is not an intersection that exisits on planet earth, but wabasha street does exist in St. Paul MN. I want the illustration to be of a street sign with a bike leaning up against it with the text "meet me in the morning" on the illustration. So people will have to interpret the illustration to be the dylan song if they know it, but if not it symbolizes morning bike rides and people getting together to do so. The therory about dylans song is that 56th is on the edge of town and symbolizes where the city ends and the country begins. so it may work to somehow bring a sunrise or a transition from th e city to gravel roads and country. not sure. I want the bike to be a cyclocross bike (you can look up online) and am really looking for people to be creative with the style. Bob Dylan, Cycling, Minneapolis/St. paul, can be themes but I don't want it to be super literal. I want it to be a cool poster. the edge of town thing does not have to be in it, just a well laid out design.
Bike should be facing forward and no human should be in the illustration or on the bike.
simple and iconic is what I am looking for - something that would work in black and white.
I am adding a few files for examples of things I like, but just for some background.
