I would like to translate a vision I have in my mind into an illustration that makes absolute sense when looking at it. To give you some background. I founded an app company that operates in a unique way. I would like to tell the story in a graphic. This is how I tell the story in words, which may help you grasp it. The Norm for app development is to go to a developer and have your project coded from scratch, this can often lead to 6-7 figure investments. We created a platform that builds a core framework of an app with readymade features massively reducing cost and production time, users can enhance as they so wish and it is looked after by Expert Apps (the mothership) , we attend to the upgrades, updates, support, security, compliance servers etc all for one licence fee. First Frame of illustration Imagine a mothership in space, with hundreds of pods firmly attached around to the ship, the mothership gives birth to these pods and feeds them supports them to develop, all of the pods are learning from each other, and when the mothership installs an upgrade all the pods get fed with the information and develop further. The pay a licence fee to the mothership, to look after them. The client owns the pod and everything inside. (in my mind- I see the pods FIRMLY attached, and where possible a clear visual of the pods being fed by an energy source) (my mind- I see the pods all being different colours and visually looking like an app brand, BUT NOT loads of mobile screen shots, I like the idea of the pods, still … the message I am sending is that everyone’s can look different, some will be bigger than others, some will be more decorative than others because it’s the framework that is being built upon. Second frame of the illustration There are options to disconnect and to take the pod elsewhere if they so wish, and to have someone else tender to it. ( imagination in the mind is pods breaking away ) only 1-2 pods leaving as I want to demonstrate you CAN but its not a thing that you need or must do. Look at the space station image where the pods are attached, this is a photo similar to what I am looking for but I am looking for an illustration that clearly represents my brand. I like the one with what looks like a giant building on it, as it breaks it away from the flat looking space craft, it is not essential to have build up un the top but could very well win points in the selection process.
