The client requested a logo that represents them as a band, and that doesn’t feel like it goes against the grain of the music genre they play. Something kinda playful, but legible, something that doesn't look aggressive, they wanted something that feels sleek, and mature, but hip and the logo must only be one color. So we get pedal to the metal and come up with this. 😃 We decided to go with a skull as a picture element so it can perfectly be incorporated into the logo name. Give it a bit grain to have grunge looking feel to it, and of course all black and white.

Logo For Cold Coffee Company

The concept of this Business is to serve cold coffee in the same way you serve a Stout Beer, from a beer tap and into a Pint glass. The style they wanted was rustic, yet modern and hip. The client used the phrase "That a barista would be proud to tattoo in his arm". So from this I kept in mind the tattoo look. It would have to be something not too complex and preferably single coloured. So I designed this logo, which involves the profile view of a Stout tap serving the coffee in a Pint glass. After watching a video of the client pouring the coffee I noticed the curves and swirls of brown and cream that formed when hitting the bottom of the glass and I though that would be a good graphic effect to include in the logo, giving it dynamism and character. I used brown as the main colour because of the use of coffee.
