Major part in the novel is doughter Winter who don't want to be on the run any more. She want's to have normal life, go to college, find love, friends... CH wanted to represent all those things with very simple, two color design. So, I made this simple drawing of bomb shaped hippie van on rush and young girl who just sitting and reading, like she's not there. And... I won.

a 2 hour logo challenge for a school's athletic brand.

It was actually just about 2 or 3 hours until the contest deadline when a colleague of mine posted this contest link on our forum and I immediately took that as a challenge.. When I jumped in, I realized that I have cool growling bear pose on my other logo. so, considering my very limited time, I build this logo based on that pose. after about 2 hours, this is the final result...

With the brief calling for a refreshing direction we deliberately moved away from obvious drinking and bottle references; preferring to make a bold, contemporary, geometrical mark to develop the BLC initials. A logo that would look just as at home on a high-end set of business stationery as it would on a bottle of fine shiraz.

Logo concept for Amplii

This design features the idea of the amplification wave with the upward deflection. This denoting a positive signal for content created by the users. It also doubles up as an arrow pointing upwards. This is to denote optimism and growth. In addition to this, to two separate parts are shaped in such a way as to symbolically convey content being passed from one hand to another. An exchange is occurring. The tail on the left side helps convey movement and reinforce the idea of a speedy service. The overall curves of the design makes it more friendly and accessible. Colour choices are warmer and inviting, but can easily be tweaked. The simple design should work well for an icon on the web and app.
