rebskieZ got their new logo & brand guide by running a design contest:
Premier Equestrian Training Logo Design located in the PNW

Animal & Pet
We are a premier dressage training and breeding program, located in the PNW. The target audience is usually female, with a good amount of disposable income (upper-middle class). Often women in their 30s-60s though there are some younger riders as well with parents in the upper-middle class. Services include training, lessons, breeding, and sales.
Other color requirements
Black and red should be incorporated — the third color currently is a gold, but it feels dated. Perhaps a tan or something more modern in that realm? The current red is also too bright and feels dated.
We’d like to maintain an illustration / icon of a dressage horse somewhere in the logo. You can read more about training and services at https://www.donidafarm.com/about-donida-farm/gwen-blake-dressage/. Current colors are red, black, and gold but the gold might feel a little dated. Open to designer recommendation but definitely want to maintain the black and red though can certainly be a different shade of red, something softer / not as “in your face” as the fire hydrant red in the attached. More modern. I included a photo of the current logo below and an example of one that we really really like (HM Dressage and Imports the best and the Elegant Dressage Horses one second). Luxurious and professional with some light embellishments / whimsical elements thought still looking fairly clean and elegant. Something softer but still with movement and power. Thank you!!!

And then… they selected a winner!
Painted Pony Studios was fabulous to work with! She nailed it on the first round, and it was clear her design would be the winner of our contest early on. We love our new logo so much!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
