We held a contest for a logo and business card design for our convenience store and kribbox's design was our favorite. He was super responsive throughout the entire process, quickly making changes we asked for and responding to questions. A+ work, we would definitely use him again!
An exceptional initial design that became more and more perfect with a few notes.
Good job! Pleasure working with you! Cheers!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are revamping and doing a top to bottom renovation of a Convenience store our family has operated for 40 years. We are in a community that is both rural and a resort area. It will be a higher end store that will offer a clean crisp location that is well merchandised, offers a high level of customer service, and lots of ready to eat and fresh food options, along with gasoline. We will theme the store's interior with images and themes of the local area and history. We have state park, botanical gardens, resorts nearby. Our gas brand uses red white and blue as their colors, but we are open to any palate you think would have an impact for the store logo and not fight too much with the Marathon Petroleum color scheme. The store was established in 1976 and we'd like that to be incorporated in the logo in some fashion. Also, the three primary product categories we carry are food, beverages, and fuel. It might be good to explore how the design might communicate that graphically.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

I like the shape and that it looks good from a distance and up close.
I like the simplicity of it and the stylized "E".
Very straightforward and memorable. Good image.

Good tie in with the company name.
nice graphic. simple.
the design illustrates the name perfectly.
Our area has a very high per capita income for our state, and is a resort, but we also have many construction and landscape crews as regular customers. We have a college campus that will soon have 600 or so 20 year olds right next door as well as a high end development with a hundred homes largely populated by well off retirees. We are family run and have lived in and served this community for 40 years. Marathon petroleum, our gas supplier uses pantones PMS 199 and PMS 286. You don't have to use these pantones, but the design palate needs to work well with these colors. I have uploaded a photo of Marathon's logo for reference. The primary use of our logo will be on our lighted sign out front, on our front doors and on business cards. It needs to be something that has impact from the street as you drive by.
