Fire Starters is a Movement/Program targeted to motivate, equip, and empower a generation of young people (ages 13-21) to make a difference and ‘change the world’ in a positive and dynamic way.
Other color requirements
Very open minded about colors, please see the notes section of brief to better understand. But we prefer bold, intense, vibrant, deep colors combinations, or combinations that have good contrast to capture attention. We don’t want the entire design to be passive with all light, soft, pastel shades alone. We want it to connect.
Fire Starters is a Christian Youth Organization, but not your “typical” Church Group or Youth Organization. To us typical means dead, non life changing, it does not motivate, it does not have a purpose to empower and engage kids to live a different type life. Typical means catering to and baby sitting kids. FIRE STARTER IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. It’s dynamic, life changing, powerful, motivated, cutting edge, passionate, intimate, contagious, empowering, alive, on fire, etc… It’s a program, a heart, a passion, and a process that absolutely lights a fire IN THEM and then THROUGH THEM for God to live in such a way that it completely transforms the world around them (their families, friends and the community at large). While Fire Starters is Christian, but we don’t want the typical Christian/Religious Logo. It can have aspects that people will identify as Christian. At the same time we are not opposed to it being a totally/completely religious logo… as long as it can be done in a creative/cutting edge way that stands out from the crowd of other ‘typical' religious logos. We don’t want to fool anyone about who we are or about our purpose (Setting a Generation on Fire for God to Change the World). But we want to make a statement that we are ‘different’ in that what we are Alive, Passionate, and Life Changing. We definitely want it to capture attention (in a good way) and have it connect with the community at large but still be something teenagers/young adults will identify with. In closing I will say this, we like simple, yet intriguing and unique. We just want to make a difference in the hearts and lives of kids and to teach and motive them to do the same. I hope we aren’t asking for or expecting too much or that we are too vague. We want to communicate a Passion and a Heart to set the world on fire with the Real Thing. Not the typical dead, lifeless, empty, commercialized, Christian theme or message. I want to thank all of you for helping us communicate a message and being part of the team to make a difference in the lives of others. Even if you will never see even one of the kids... It matters. You matter. Thank you!
