Bar & Nightclub
We are an "Alehouse & Eatery" (this term could possibly be incorporated if the designer feels it works). Our drinks are modern, independent brewery ales and craft beers, local orchard ciders, artisan spirits and gourmet coffee/tea. Funky IPA's, emerging craft beers, obscure ales. No mainstream brands to be sold - all niche. Retro drinks, Coke floats, gin and tonic in teapots and quirky takes on common classics. Our food is kitchen takeover style using street food traders, festival caterers and expressive individual chefs. Think rustic, earthy and authentic food. Smoke house and pulled meats, Chicken and wings, Mexican, Seafood, stone baked pizzas, fresh and local. Our venues theme is industrial with hints of rustic-vintage. Raw concrete, wooden pallets, steel, leather chesterfields and slate/stone. Splashes of local art, graffiti styled and abstract. Vibrant, popping colours. There will be live music (niche of course), shuffleboard, arcade machines, games nights and homebrew contests. Target audience includes young, hipsters, bearded craft beer drinking cheque shirt wearing manly types. Millennials, new age free-thinking - open minded. We are also keen to encourage the classic ageing ale drinker. Like minded ladies with a passion for quality beer/cocktails/spirits - no holds barred.
While we have selected the "Bar & Nightclub" industry we are actually 50/50 bar and restaurant. The name of our establishment "Latitude 48" refers to the hop belt. Or line of latitude that the majority of the worlds best beer hops are grown on. Therefore references/imagery relating to maps/atlas/lines of latitude/hops/beer/ale/beer taps and the like could well be incorporated. The number 48 could possibly figure centrally or as predominantly (not essential - just an idea) Many thanks
