How Kay Anderson started their logo design journey
I am in the process of revamping my business website and want to get a new logo to give me a whole new feel. My directions to my web designer is fun, funky, clean lines, up to date, not fussy, and very hip. I am not set on colors, but am giving web designer free reighn on color palette, so need a logo that will adapt well to color change. Looking for a more modern hip feel than previous logo which now seems so dated.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
See existing website at http://www.ampmspecialties.com - I am making my new site purely about my promotional merchandise business. I am a creative, Unique branding boutique and wish for that to come across in my web and logo design. Logo needs to reproduce well as a 1 color as I do a lot of giveaway materials and to save cost on those need to be able to reproduce as a 1 color. Would like logo to be easily recognizable, punchy and be able to be created in to some really cool booth artwork for tradeshows etc, brochures, flyers, letterhead etc.
I hate the company name but am stuck with it for now -
You could incorporate "A unique, creative Branding Boutique -for all your promotion needs " possibly instead of the description of what the letters stand for.
Color scheme for now - I love red and light gray / silver but may be dated so am very open - be creative and outside the box and don't let me steer you. I want to be wowed and surprised by what I like.
My old logo! Boring. I want to change the image to upbeat, funky creative.
