How Pano.anthos started their logo design journey
In a rocket launch, the angle of ascent is super critical. One degree off, and the rocket ends up in the water.
So too is the angle of launch for startups. The best idea in the world will turn into nothing if the execution (angle) is not spot on. Lots of mistakes are made in the early stages of the company's life that can make the difference between success and failure.
Guided Launch helps startups launch at the right angle and velocity to ensure success.
Unlike traditional angel investors, Guided Launch rolls up its sleeves and devotes specific time on a weekly and monthly basis to help with specific aspects of the company that the founder needs help on (from business development to interim CEO and fundraising).

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Entrepreneurs -- Typically founders of companies. Folks who have a passion for starting things and changing the world. Usually pretty green about building a company. Younger folks, from out of school into their early 30's. Well educated and driven. Many of them will be a little geeky. 70% male, 30% female.
Tech Press -- love to find the hot new things and write about them.
Venture Capitalists -- these are the financiers of later stage companies. They have the big bucks. They need to know about Guided Launch to refer early startups to us.
A cool clean logo that captures the inspiration of a rocket launch and the sense of guidance. Not too literal, but recognizable.
Could be a play on Guided Launch with some logo treatment of the name or a full logo with the name.
Should be fun. I don't want to come across as too serious. Whimsical can work. Simple lines rather than intricate design for the logo.
Not too much color. Black and white could work or cool colors that give the sense of fun but cool.
The movity logo has a great color blue (attached)
The mint logo works well -- color is not preferred to Movity blue
Dropbox logo is super clean. The logo "box" is not overwhelming but its clearly there.
Quantcast logo plays well off the alpha symbol
Rapleaf logo is similarly cool, yet memorable.
