How ashleydw started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Codicuts Diamond Drilling
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Codicuts is a small, family run diamond drilling and sawing business located in the UK (diamond drilling and sawing does not involve drilling 'for' diamonds but 'with' diamond tipped drills: see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqyZPj28dk8
I want to covey to contractors and prospective clients that Codicuts is a modern, professional company with many years of experience.
I want the logo to be recognisable and memorable and it will need to be adaptable enough to be used on a website, business cards and on clothing and vehicles.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
There are quite a few drilling and sawing companies around and many of them have incorporated the image of a diamond into their logo. Whilst I am not adverse to this idea, it would have to be pretty special not to feel a bit cliched (I don't think that many of the other companies have professionally designed logos).
I am happy for some or all of the name to be capitalised (or not).
If colours are used (which is fine) please bare in mind that I may have to put a version of the logo onto a coloured background (when sign writing vehicles or embroidering clothing) that is just one colour, so it would have to work as one colour as well.
