Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
KTS is a cutting-edge biotechnology / pharma company focused on gene editing. The gene editing technology leverages proprietary, tissue-specific "zip codes" to home into very specific organs (e.g. heart, lung, kidney). The gene editor only enters specific cells using these biological zip codes and locates malfunctioning genes. It then precisely cuts out and replaces broken genes with new properly functioning genes -> curing the disease or problem. Using this sophisticated technology to access targeted cells and deliver genetic payloads (a trojan horse of sorts) the company can solve virtually any disease in the human body. The target audience are initially investors and scientists who need to trust the brand and believe in the power of the technology. Thus, the brand needs to feel cutting edge, advanced, futuristic, exciting, strong, powerful, specific and accurate).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The core technology follows a specific and symmetrical archetypal format that could be reflected somehow in the logo (e.g. "aaa[X]aaa" where "aaa" is the zip code that helps the tool enter a cell and "X" is the new genetic material that will be substituted into the genetic code in exchange for the malfunctioning material). Examples of companies doing similar work are: Editas Medicine, Homology Medicines, Sangamo Biosciences, Intellia Therapeutics, CRSPR therapeutics. The logos and images I've attached may also be useful as a reference. These example logos use unique typography with geometric design elements and color. In our case, themes such as symmetrical, trojan horse (please don't be literal with horse), genetic code (please no helices or ladders - too common and obvious), zip codes, bar codes, access points, cryptography, gateways, unique keys, and even toll-like receptors might be useful.
