Web Application Development Co - Net Profit Services
Net Profit Services is a web application development and Internet Marketing company based in Kansas City.
We're seeking a revamp of the logo you can see at our site, http://www.netprofitservices.com
Here is our review of our current logo:
We want to update it b/c:
1: We don't love the font
2: The icon has served us well, but it's time to move on.
3: it's time to drop the ".com" from the actual logo.
Things we want to keep:
1: green should be used
2: the logo MUST look GREAT on a dark background
3: the logo should look quite nice on a white background
4: the logo should look legible if made as a solid black or solid white sticker.
5: the logo MUST look good in both small and large print.
6: the logo MUST include an open layer .ai file, open layer .png and .psd
7: the new logo MUST include font files, and a ready to go PNG file with the logo on black/white/grey in small/medium/large.
small and medium businesses looking for a team of developers they can align / partner with for unique projects they need as they grow their company.
Logos we like:
http://www.socket.net
http://www.dtelepathy.com
http://www.merixstudio.com/
http://www.pathway.com/index-a
http://sidebarcreative.com/
http://orderedlist.com/
These logos are:
- unique
- memorable
- simple yet cool
- colorful, but no more than 3 colors in the logo
- modern / trendy
- of great size proportion between icon / typography
- they're not trying too hard... simple, yet professional.
Some other points:
Our logo has 5 circles inside of the larger circle, b/c we are an ALL in ONE solution type of company that does FIVE things.
It's not required to have 5 circles... not at all, but something that conveyed we have 5 core areas of our business would not hurt.
I like the SOCKET logo b/c it shows an img of a PARTNERSHIP to me, and that is a GREAT part of how we align with our clients. So, a logo that conveyed a mutually beneficial partnership would be GREAT. Nothing corny like a handshake, as it still must look like a web services company.
I'd like a logo that is attractive in its simplicity, CLEARLY legible, and looks "web2.0" modern and unique.
We've had several great logo projects on 99designs, and we're specific in what we want and seek a lot of great entries. In turn, we'll provide feedback to every submission either by ranking, comment, or both.
