Metanoia Financial (with the tagline: “Changing the way we think about and manage personal finances.”)
I have been a financial services advisor for Bank of America. I am leaving that organization to ‘go independent’ and will work with ProEquities as my broker dealer.
I wish to meld in the impression of: Romans 12:2 – NIV translation – “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
I would ideally like the logo to convey a “change of mind.” I believe individuals have handled personal finances inappropriately which has influenced the economic downturn. I hope to be an “agent of change” to help people see personal finance in a new light.
I am a holistic financial planner who takes both the broad perspective but analyzes each individual client goal that makes up the total picture. I look at debt, expenses, risk management, insurance needs and maps against the client’s future goals.
I have a strong sense of Christian faith and intends on sharing that faith with those deemed appropriate. I want to offer up discreet evidence of that faith in case others are drawn to it.
I am pursuing members of my community in their late 20s and 30s – whereby many financial advisors tend to focus on the older age groups. This would include younger, married with kids, singles, those growing income, the emerging affluent, the next generation wealth.
Symbol Representation: Subtle Christian symbols including a cross, dove, open book like a Bible (not the fish symbol).
Style: Clean and simple – not real fussy nor cutsie. Crisp. Professional. Not too many colors.
Color Preference: No pinks or oranges or plain red. Likes blues.
Other logos that come to mind: Merrill Lynch bull and BP Stations green and yellow
Most important application of logo: There will be multiple uses – both in color and black and white – on traditional financial services materials to include business card, web site, letterhead/envelope, note pads, etc.
