Colin Gawel and the Lonely Bones is a new band fronted by rock and roll veteran Colin Gawel. For over 20 years, Colin has been with the band Watershed, including a stint with Epic Records. While Watershed is still around, Colin has formed another band that will (as a reviewer on iTunes put it) "make the transition to writing thoughtful, intelligent songs about adulthood." The initial EP is called Chemotherapy. It's available at the iTunes Store, Amazon or streaming from Colin's MySpace page (http://www.colingawel.com) or Facebook. Watershed is a classic club rock band, but with the Lonely Bones, Colin is also trying to attract a more sophisticated audience. As Colin says, "We're trying to make music that will include Watershed's core demographic but will also make our wives happy."
A great logo for the band that will look good on album covers and merchandise. The songs on the initial release are somewhat serious, but we want the tone of the logo to be appropriately adaptable to a more upbeat, fun style. As it says on his Facebook page "boozysexycool original rock and roll"
