The competition that I ran was very close in the outcome. All the contestants did a super job at producing an outcome for me. sashavip was very helpful and her designs were just a little more special than all the others but she did a fantastic job in communicating and presenting ideas based on the loose brief that I had started with.
Very good designer, thank you :D
How mike03 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Architectural Glass & Glazing
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We install storefront metal, glass, doors and curtain wall. Google "curtain wall" and that is a good idea of what our end product looks like. One of the main tools we use is a "glass suction cup".
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I'd like to somehow incorporate a glass suction cup, a silhouette of a "curtain wall" (see attached), some sort of building that has obvious window/door openings (we install window/glass metal frames and doors) or something relative to the glass/storefront installation trade. See attached curtain wall image. Additionally, I'd like for the logo to stand on its own and have a version with the letters below the logo so I can easily remove the company name depending on the application.
I would fine with some sort of "cartoon" feel to it. It does NOT have to be "formal" and symmetrical.
