Good Earth Garden Supplies
Good Earth is a start up company so this is a chance to take the blinkers off and come up with a logo for a new enterprise. Good Earth will supply garden and landscape products to home owners. The organisation will offer a high service level with sales occuring from the retail site and also offer deliveries of products to the customers home lot. Products include sand, soils, variety of mulches, pebbles and coloured stones to be used in establishing a garden or reinvigorating an existing garden. These products would be sold in bulk, we would load your trailer or utility when you attend the retail site, or deliver to your house and tip the products on site. We do not sell plants and shrubs it is not a plant nursery business.
The business is located in a designated growth suburb with new housing developments being established on a constant basis. Our target customer's are new and or first home owners who have either purchased a lot and built a new house or purchase a land and house package. When they move into their new homes they need to landscape their yard from bare earth. Many of these people would purchase the products and complete the garden work themselves as they potentially do not have a lot of funds left after purchasing land and biulding a house to have a profession landscaper do the work. These people want a garden that improves the appearance of their house and gives them a backyard to entertain and an area for the kids to play in.
The logo must contain the company name Good Earth Garden Supplies, however we will look at logos that just contain the words "Good Earth" if you felt that the full name was too long and limited the logo design and logo informed those veiwing it that it was a garden supply business.
We require a modern logo that is easy to read and has a stylised appearance to go with a modern progressive organisation. We think green in the logo would fit with the garden/landscape business, however dont be affraid to experiment with colours. There should be no more than 2 or 3 colours maximum. The logo must retain its clarity even when copied into black and white, scanned or faxed.
The fonts must be clear and stand out. Our target market is early 20's to early 40's so the logo needs to be modern and progressive that would apeal to that age bracket.
The files we require are;
Print file format ai (CMYK)
Photoshop CS3 psd layered
