Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Consider the dog is streaming video platform providing educational content on dog training and behavior from top industry leaders. We focus primarily on helping people learn how to live in harmony with their pets. Our main goal is to help people see the world from the dog's point of view. We believe in having the utmost respect for mother nature and the nature of the dog. rather than forcing the dog to bend to our human will, we prefer to consider the dogs experience of the world and point of view as we develop a relationship of mutual respect. for more information about us, see our "about us" document here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/…sp=sharing
I would like a logo that is clean and simple where the name of the company is the most prominent feature. The text should be easy to read, and please no script font. If there is a graphic element it can either be incorporated into the text, or alongside the text. If there is a graphic separate from the text, I don't think I want an image of an entire dogs body. Perhaps just a partial dog (Dog Paw images are very over used in this industry fyi ), or something that hints to humans thinking about dogs, such as something incorporating a thought bubble, or gears, or something of that nature , it would also be cool to see an option where the dog image is incorporated into the text in a creative and elegant way. I definitely like more clean and classy as opposed to cartoony. We are a high level group of industry leaders and want the logo to reflect that.
I would really like to emphasize the concept of "Thinking about dogs", or "The complexity of the dog" in the design. I have seen so many very generic images of dogs, noses, paw prints etc. I really want something totally unique that characterizes our name "Consider the Dog." When selecting sample logos for this process I deliberately chose logos where the graphic was very much a visual representation of the concept of the brand
