Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're an electrical contractor, and we cater to higher end clientele.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Let designers make suggestions:

I'd like to stay away from clipart plugs, switched, outlets, cords, lightbulbs and lightning bolts. I'm thinking I'd like to use a greyscale with gold or bronze color scheme. Ideally I'd like the package to be close to square proportions, which will lend itself nicely to badges, and placards for electrical equipment, as well as vinyl graphics for vehicles. It seems I've been leaning towards a hexagon shape lately (thinking of multiple facets of our business, and they interlock for textured background uses.)
Feel free to use our current website for inspiration at http://www.hitchcockunlimited.com. This new logo will replace the hitchcockunlimited logo as we're changing the business structure. ElectricAce.com is the new holding company for multiple businesses we own, therefor it should have a little bit more corporate feel. I've found that the square proportions or badge style logos work well in more applications rather than horizontally or vertically strong. (The Hitchcock & Co logo is harder to place on things, where Hartley Electric logo seems easier.)
