Brand “Dairyboy” Brief
1. What is the profile of the organisation/company?
We are start-up food processing company focused on introducing innovative food products. Currently we are focused on dairy products. We are currently focused on the Indian Market, but, over time we have definite plans to sell our products globally. So we are looking for a global logo which would be welcomed all over the world. We would like to market all our dairy products under the brand name “Dairyboy”.
2.Why the Name Dairyboy? What it stands for and what is the profile of the brand?
Firstly, the name “Dairyboy” is very easy to pronounce and remember. The name “Dairyboy” is actually inspired from a imaginary young boy (You can imagine a 12 year old kid) who works in an Irish/English country side dairy farm located in the midst of beautiful and lush green landscapes. Our idea is to create an interesting story around this boy who works in his father’s dairy farm.
Ultimately, our whole idea is to create an interesting character or a mascot called “Dairyboy”, who represents the brand and communicates to the consumers what it stands for. This way, consumers connect to the brand in a great way and remember the brand name easily.
We envision having “Dairyboy” as the mother brand and having different sub brands for various product lines under the mother brand.
a. Geographic (i.e. Region, City type): There could be slight variation in product profiles depending upon the traditions of the region, but most of the dairy products are universally accepted anywhere in the world. So we aim to be a global brand. Currently we are focusing only on the Indian Market, but later plan to move Global/International.
b. Demographic (i.e. Age, Gender, Occupation, Education et al.). The dairy products generally appeal to people of any age, but overall our various products will be mainly targeted at consumers of age group between 5 to 35 Years
