Food & Drink
We are a boutique hot sauce company and we take pride in our products- our label should convey that. Our target audience is individuals that appreciate a gourmet hot sauce that is actually hot and don't mind paying more for a truly exceptional bottle of hot sauce. There are lots of hot sauce companies that use gimmicky labels to sell a sub-standard product. We want to distance ourselves from this type of marketing as much as possible. We make a great product and we want a logo that represents the thought, care, and pride that goes into it.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions
This logo will be used on a glass bottle. It is a 5 oz woozy bottle, which is a very common size of hot sauce bottle. The design will need to fit on a square/diamond, rectangle, circle, or oval shaped standard label. We are leaning towards a square turned 45 degrees so that corners point at 12,3,6, and 9 oclock, but this is open to debate. The color of the sauce is a burnt orange, so the colors of the logo will need to complement that. We have been leaning towards incorporating the shape of a badge for the logo, specifically a star-shaped badge, but once again we are not married to this and would love to see any other design directions you might want to explore. Winning designer will need to provide vector files and all design assets, including prior revisions of the logo
