Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are redeveloping a 1920s manufacturing warehouse--a large space with double bow-truss, high ceilings--into a home for emerging bioscience and tech companies seeking modern, flexible workspaces. We are targeting life sciences companies within the Los Angeles area that have outgrown the incubator, start-up phase. The space will provide office and communal space to create the work and community environment for these smaller companies to "Hatch," ergo the name. This is a real estate project targeting bioscience companies.

The site (see image) is located along an industrial corridor and railroad track in the neighborhood of El Sereno (East Los Angeles). We would like to incorporate the turbine that was used for past manufacturing uses (see image) into the logo, as you see fit. Although this space is specifically for bioscience companies, we do not want our logo to be too literal or too science looking. We want to create a logo that ties together the history of the neighborhood and the warehouse with the space's new, attractive modern use.
