City Picnic is an outdoor, all-year round food market in New York City. For thousands of years artisans have used markets to offer their goods to locals and travelers alike. Markets like these, whether located in rural villages or in bustling metropolises, have brought people of varying backgrounds together to share one thing common to us all -- the passion for real, good food. But markets are about more than food. They also provide us with a sense of community in an age of faceless digital interactions, and perhaps a place to pause for a moment during the craziness that often fills our days. What better way to take a well-deserved break in this town, than to go on a City Picnic. We look forward to going on a picnic with you at the Northwest corner of Bowery and Great Jones. I'd like to explore the following colors: Reds: Energy, action, passion and love. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication. Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
We are open to color suggestions as well. We were thinking of a base of red, white and maybe green. But dark neutrals are also ok.
