Medical & Pharmaceutical
USPRA is the association for the development, support, and dissemination of information about the practice of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. USPRA members include agencies, practitioners, families and persons living with psychiatric disabilities, leaders in psychiatric rehabilitation education and research from major universities across the United States and the world, as well as state and federal government entities dedicated to improving outcomes in a cost-effective, evidenced-based and highly successful model. The primary mission of the organization is to advance the availability and practice of psychiatric rehabilitation so that all individuals with a serious mental illness have access to the supports they need to recover. Members join for continuing professional education opportunities, certifications, networking, advocacy, and research/current trends. This logo is part of a branding effort to contemporize the organization’s logo while establishing a look and feel that better represents the breadth and depth of USPRA’s members. The logo should be aspirational for prospective and new members (both individuals and organizations) and demonstrate the strength of the psychiatric rehabilitation community within society. Words used to describe the organization include professional, passionate, inspirational, determined, collaborative, innovative, diverse, empowering, representing, training, strong, hope, self-determination and community.
Logo types to explore
We would like USPRA and US Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association to be readable. The design can be horizontal or vertical. The logo should have the ability to be adapted for use in other formats - stacked for a vertical format that could be used for social media icons, signs and other uses. When you design this logo, keep in mind you are designing for an audience that is successful, educated, professional and passionate. The community is extremely dedicated to transforming the lives of persons with psychiatric disabilities to one of hope and recovery. The design should be sophisticated and contemporary to appeal to association’s broad diversity of members.
