Art & Design
Its best to start with what I don't want I think: -A traditional photography logo i.e. a mountain and my name, a camera and my name, a lens and my name, an aperture and my name-Anything that resembles the 70's, 80's or 90's ... What I want designer's to try: -Look at my photography and you can see how it's not like traditional photography http://www.lukezeme.smugmug.com -being creative with the design -Using the keywords from my subtitle: i.e. modern, abstract, 3D, reflection, blur, movement, evolving, futuristic, artistic -Some, but not all, designs can try incorporating 'coloured translucent smoke' into the logo, see from this example http://bit.ly/UNdzNC which can be in around and behind the text and any additions you feel can represent the keywords and my art. Id just like the design to represent current times and not been a fossil of the past... :-) not trying to step on any toes here though. I still love traditional photography but its not how Id like to represent myself. Thanks everyone, and most of all I want you to have fun with it.
Logo types to explore
I wish to appeal to those who want something NEW and EXCITING in their lives, and not the old traditional is what I want my logo to get across. I uploaded 3 of my own images to show you examples of my work. HDR photography is a relative new practice (5 years or so) and traditional photographers hate us ! and that's putting it mildly. They see our work as cartoony and not photography and viewers either love us or hate us. I have a following on facebook and flickr and there are a lot of people out there who do appreciate HDR images.
