The Socialtyze logo example provided is our favorite - especially in the sense that it uses the 3 circle overlapping image, which is core to their strategy. Take a look at their site to understand further: http://www.socialtyze.com.
Also, really like the ones called "Company Name', "Community" and "Torch". I could see any one of those being used as a basis to convey a somewhat abstract prism.
Core to our strategy is the prism. The prism can take on a variety of shapes/forms, but the idea being that it is the principle of when anobject goes through a prism, it is split into a variety of new objects. In this case, think of a marketing strategy. When the marketing strategy goes through the "social prism" a multitude of new marketing strategies/tactics are created (SEO, PPC, Email, Mobile, etc.etc.)
Typically, a prism is represented by a triangle. You may explore this, however, we are hoping to move away from the typical triangular shape as this can come across as too "Pink Floyd-ish". So, please explore alternate shapes to convey the prism. (I've included some images for inspirations for different prisms)
(NOTE: The included PPT slide is only include to illustrate the company's strategy. Please do not take this as creative direction.)
Target audience: Mid-size to large corporations seeking social media strategy and tactical support
