Food & Drink
I am an expert at baking custom creations for my loyal customers. I run this catering business out of my apartment for now - but I plan to turn it into a full-scale bakery with a storefront soon. I bake a wide variety of specialties - mostly desserts which include breads, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, donuts, french macarons, pies, wedding cakes and more. I also cater to gluten-free customers. All of my ingredients are fresh and high in quality. Each order is baked from scratch, hand decorated and made-to-order. When I open my storefront bakery, I expect to sell sandwiches and salads as well. As of now, most of my customers are women - a variety of ages.. mostly between 25-60 in the Atlanta area. However, I do have some male customers. I named the business Baked Joy because I like the name, but as a side note, my first name is Joy. I am the Chief Executive Baker.
Logo types to explore
My customers consider me their "neighborhood baker." I'm more than a vendor for them - I'm someone they trust to make their celebrations unique and fabulous. People can go to a store for a cheaper, mass-produced product - they come to me because they want something unique and fresh. My current logo is very pink. I feel like most bakeries are very pink and feminine. I feel that this fits me, but I want my bakery to have a more sophisticated look - it should look different than the average bakery. That is why I specified navy as a potential color. I'm flexible on colors - but I want it to have a sophisticated look. Also, my current logo has a cookie in it, which might make someone think that's all I do - when it's not. I only requested 2 logo types explored, but if you think another could work well, I'm definitely open to that. I want my logo to be very legible and easy to read/identify. While I own the incorporation for Baked Joy, the trademark is in the final stages. After I have select a logo from the designs, I will submit it to the USPTO. Assuming the trademark is approved, I would like to have the "r" applied to it to signify that it is a registered trademark. I attached my current logo along with a sample of some of the items I made for customers this year to give you an idea of some of the things I do.
