I'm founder/President of SMITH-TRG a business performance improvement and value creation consultant. I authored/published in 11/09 the U.S. Jobs Creation Plan - Create 2 million net new jobs for U.S. citizens in 12 months. As follow-on now launching a U.S. jobs growth & wealth creation social good enterprise "to empower thousands to create billions".
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Overall it's a U.S. national audience. fyi, there are 26.5 milllion U.S. workers who are jobless or underemployed. I'm targeting those concerned about need for U.S. jobs creation. Those people can be corporations, corporate executives, professionals, students, employed/un-employed, and/or family members who would like to contribute (small or large dollars) to us to enable us to assist others build growing and sustainable businesses that will create future wealth.
Sweet spot target audience - are digital media savvy mellenials, those born in 1981 to 1991...children of U.S. Baby Boomers (70+ million)
Again, it's for people who are concerned and want to help the U.S. quickly recover 9.4 million (jobs deficit) lost jobs since year end 2007.
Following are only suggestions - I'm open to highly creative thinking... new, fresh, contemporary ideas and appropriately memorable colors.
My logo thoughts which may not work...
I like the idea of a button, like one you'd push, that says create jobs. And next to it or below it is http://www.USRoadToRecovery.com
go to http://www.smith-trg.com/news/createjobs.html and see stock photo of a green button. Gives you reference point idea.
Also from a simplicity of design and color combination perspective go to http://www.pennyon.com Notice how they use their core logo throughout their web site...
Do experiment with colors...
The logo product... I believe I need JPEG or in industry standard format
This may help -- For SMITH-TRG, I currently use Network Solutions. Please go to http://www.networksolutions.com and confirm their 'site builder' requirements so you know you'll deliver usable product to me.
Please, no clip art or anything that might come across as cheap.
By the way, I'm partial to objects with white backgrounds...gives feeling it was placed on paper/slide/Website not pasted there.
