I was blown away by the initial designs maloandjelce submitted to my contest - they were fresh, striking and professional - in fact they completely surpassed my expectations. She then worked tirelessly with me as we tried colour variations - she clearly wanted the results to be perfect and she really knows what she's doing. I am absolutely over the moon with the end result - I think it's amazing. I could not have asked for more.
How Matt B started their logo design journey
The Cremation Society of Connecticut is an inexpensive alternative for those who wish to choose cremation. This will be our new logo.
Cremation Society of Connecticut
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want a logo that is professional and dignified. One that will be used for display on websites and print media. It should be able to be printed in both full color as well as black and white. It should attract attention so that members of the community take note of the service and know that it is available.
The Name: Cremation Society of Connecticut
Color scheme: we like blue, but we are not wed to anything.
Imagery: Something that highlights our New England location and demonstrates reliability. I was thinking a lighthouse, but again, feel free to be creative.
We would like a style that is contemporary, but elegant.
- Too many colors
- Overtly modern fonts
- All capital letter
- Anything that may be viewed as in bad taste.
- Any caskets, tombstones, hearses, etc.
