How infovuw started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Crowded Barrel Whiskey Co.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A Whiskey distillery in South Austin, TX. Our "Whiskey Tribe" is one of the biggest - and most engaged whisk(e)y communities in the U.S. (we have the 2nd and 3rd largest Whiskey channels on YouTube).
The Tribe's members are officially known as "Magnificent Bastards", and the "Crowded Barrel Whiskey Co." is where our members collectively design new and innovative whiskeys. Through Crowded Barrel, we train them on every decision point in the whiskey creation process, and let the community vote on how to best bring that whiskey to life.
Simply put, Crowded Barrel is crowdsourcing the whiskey creation process with thousands of whisk(e)y lovers - from grain to glass.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Bar & Nightclub
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This is a logo for a whiskey distillery. We already have mascots with the bear and the eagle. They can battle each other, or help each other - there's enough "lore" to support either approach.
We want some kind of graphic involving both "whiskey spirit animals". Possible something where the bear and eagle are coming out of a barrel.
We've attached our current versions, but it's just a starting point. No need to keep the same bear and eagle. We like the circle affect of the raven and bear. but it would need to be an eagle instead.
We're trying to avoid heading the direction of the overly cartoonish representation of the bear and eagle. Anything you could try that turns them more into icons vs drawings would be cool.
The more this logo can be turned into a stencil style outline, the better it will be for us.
