We are a multi faceted company with several focuses all within the training and development market.
The first part of what we do is act as the Master Distributor for the Australia/New Zealand market for a company that develops a series of assessment tools (laymen's terms personality profiles, but we don't use that terminology as it is not correct). This business has us working with internal Human Resources, Learning & Development and Organisational Development professionals for larger organisations as well as external trainers, coaches and consultants to help them use our assessment tools in their training initiatives in their organisations (internal) and for their clients (external).
Our main job as the master distributor is to develop and protect the market for our tools in Australia/NZ and to build a distribution network of trainers, coaches and consultants.
With this in mind there are several things we do, all centred around people and getting the most out of relationships.
Our main target audience consists of 2 primary groups which we call internal and external:
Internal - These are professionals who work within larger organisations in the capacity of Human Resources, Learning and Development, Training, Recruitment and Organisational Development.
External - these are trainers, coaches and consultants that companies hire to work with their company to select and develop the people in their organisation.
Typically these audiences are "people people" they like things that are bright and vibrant. A core message we want to get access is that our business is about people and helping them discover themselves and how to be happy, productive and get what they want.
We are looking to rebrand our business, we have recently changed the focus of our business to focus on the profiling tools and accreditation programs we offer and we plan to rebrand as such. The first stage of this is to design a new logo, then stationary, then a style guide, then a new website. So we are asking you to design the future of our business.

We like logos (and over all styles) that are softer colours for example we prefer a dark grey to black. have a look at http://www.DISCaccreditation.com.au for examples. We like the idea of a "clean look" i.e. white space is important, not too much going on - simple is best.
I have uploaded some sample designs in a PDF and additional information and some covers of books we have in the market. The designs in the PDF are things we did inhouse but not suite there - we like the idea of the logo incorporating a person as this is a focus of our business. Historically our colours have been a purple, grey and black (see old logo in attachment) but please feel free to experiment with colours and provide options.
